5/6/2014 WORLD ENVIRONMENT DAY :

In celebration of the World Environment day, Sri Chamaragendra Zoological Gardens of Mysore, conducted a drawing competition in which the children participated and secured prizes.
15/6/2014 WORKSHOP FOR AUTISTIC CHILDREN :

Mrs Hemamalini Jayram conducted a workshop on Autism for primary school teachers . It was held at the Rotary childrens’ library.
15/8/2014 INDEPENDENCE DAY CELEBRATIONS :

Independence Day was celebrated at the school campus. The activities for the day involved flag hoisting, songs, fancy dress and dance shows and prizes were distributed.
6/9/2014 PICNIC :

An educational tour and picnic was held for the children , parents and staff members to Srirangpatna and the Krishnaraja Sagar dam.
28/9/2014 MAKKALA DASARA :

The children from Aashianaa participated in a dance competition held on the occasion of dasara at the kalamandir hall for which they were awarded certificates and cash prizes.
30/9/2014 DASARA PROGRAMME :

Children participated in sports and fancy dress competitions held at J.K grounds and were awarded certificates and cash cheques.
13/11/2014 NAAVU VISHESHA :

A programme was conducted by Karunamayi Trust at the Jaganmohan palace with over 20 schools participating in the competitions. The children participated in the dance competition and parents performed a kawali dance for which they were awarded gifts.
14/11/2014 PICNIC :

In celebration of Children’s day, the students, staff and parents went on a picnic to Karanji lake, Mysore.
21/11/2014 CULTURAL PROGRAMME :

Children participated in a fancy dress competition held at the deaf and dumb school and won prizes for the same.
26/11/2014 SPORTS :

Children participated in sports competitions held at chamundi vihar stadium and secured prizes.
3/12/2014 FANCY DRESS COMPETITION :

On the occasion of “World Disable Day”, fancy dress singing and musical chair competitions were held at Maharaja’s high school, in which the children participated and secured prizes.
11/12/2014 GET TOGETHER :

A lunch party was organised for the trustees and teachers at the school by the parents.
14/12/2014 MEDICAL CHECK UP CAMP :

A medical check up camp for the children was conducted by doctors at St Joseph’s Hospital, Mysore.
16/12/2014 OPEN DAY :

On occasion of the “OPEN DAY”, various games and events were conducted by the All India Institute of Speech and hearing which was attended by our children. They also secured prizes in various competitions.
23/12/2014 BAALA NYAAYA KAAYDE :

The staff of the school attended a talk about “BAALA NYAAYA KAAYDE”-2000 and POCSO-2012, held at the Deaf and Dumb school, Tilaknagar, Mysore.
2/1/2015, 3/1/2015, 4/1/2015 SPORTS AND CULTURAL PROGRAMME :

Sports and cultural programme was conducted at Oval Grounds, by Rotary Midtown, along with a rally on awareness by various special needs schools from different districts.

Sports for higher and lower disability children as well as cultural programmes such as dance competitions were also held. The children were awarded various prizes.
9/1/2015 CULTURAL PROGRAMME :

A cultural programme was organised by “Suraksha Janaseva Trust”. Various competitions such as fancy dress, group and solo dance were conducted for which the children were awarded certificates and prizes.
23/12/2014 BAALA NYAAYA KAAYDE :

The staff of the school attended a talk about “BAALA NYAAYA KAAYDE”-2000 and POCSO-2012, held at the Deaf and Dumb school, Tilaknagar, Mysore.
20/1/2015 MEDICAL CAMP :

A medical camp was conducted for the children.
10/2/2015 PARENT’S AWARENESS PROGRAMME :

An awareness programme about special children and their needs by DRC and BRC officers.
15/2/2015 TAARE ZAMEEN PAR :

Children participated in various competitions conducted by the rotary club of Mysore and secured numerous prizes.
13/3/2015 SEMINAR :

A seminar on livelihood programme for individuals with Specials needs was conducted at the All India Institute on Speech and Hearing. The major topics covered were “Post school transition, focus on independent living and community living skills “etc.
19/3/2015 PHYSIOTHERAPY FOR PARENTS :

A physiotherapy training class was conducted by the physiotherapist for the parents. Various tips on repeated strain injury management and simple exercises for shoulder, neck and legs were taught to the parents to be practised on the children daily.
