15/8/2013	INDEPENDENCE DAY CELEBRATIONS : The Independence Day was celebrated in a grand manner at the Aashianaa school campus. After the flag hoisting, various games and programmes were showcased by the children and parents to mark the celebrations. The children were awarded prizes for all the competitions.
27/8/2013	PICNIC TO K.R.S DAM : A day picnic was held for the children, parents and staff members to the iconic K.R.S dam. Transport facilities were provided by the management and the children had a memorable visit.
5/9/2013	TEACHER’S DAY : Teacher’s day was celebrated in grandeur at Aashianaa. The parents hosted various programmes and songs in honour of the teachers. The day was made more special with gifts for all the teachers.
14/10/2013	CHILDREN’S DAY : Lots of games and entertainment were provided to the children by the staff and parents to mark the celebrations. Surprise gifts and cake were also given to the children.
18/11/2013	CULTURAL PROGRAMME : A cultural programme was conducted where the children of Aashianaa participated in the dance, drawing and fancy dress events.
27/11/2013	SPORTS : The children participated in sports competitions held at oval grounds and secured numerous prizes.
2/12/2013	WORLD DISABLED DAY : The children attended the World Disability day function conducted by the woman and children welfare department.
9/12/2013	PARENTS AWARENESS PROGRAMME : An awareness programme was conducted for the teachers and parents at the Aashianaa school campus by the DRC and BRC officers. Various speeches were given by the DRC and BRC officers which was very useful.
17/12/2013	AIISH OPEN DAY : The children participated in various sports and fun games conducted during the open day at the All India Institute of Speech and Hearing.
29/12/2013	BANDHAVYA SPORTS FOR DIFFERENTLY ABLED : A sports event was conducted by the Rotary Club at the oval grounds in which the children participated and also secured numerous prizes.
9/1/2014	BADATHE KADAM : The women and child welfare department organised an awareness programme based on the “National Act”. This was attended by the children, staff as well as parents of Aashianaa.
28/1/2014	VISIT TO ZOO : The staff, children and parents visited the zoo as part of an educational tour.
3/2/2014	MAKKALA HABBA : The children participated in various dance and fancy dress competitions held as part of the annual cultural fest for children including the differently abled.
13/2/2014	REGIONAL MUSEUM OF NATURAL HISTORY : The regional museum of natural history conducted a 3 day interactive programme comprised of awareness seminars, interactive sessions and various activities such as fancy dress competitions, environmental games and cultural programmes in which our parents, teachers and children ardently participated.
25/2/2014	STATE LEVEL SPORTS MEET FOR PHYSICALLY CHALLENGED : The children participated in various games such as running race, ball throwing, threading the beads and disk throw etc held at the oval grounds and medals were awarded to winners.
2/3/2014	TAARE ZAMEEN PAR : Children participated in various competitions conducted by the rotary club of Mysore and secured numerous prizes.
